Thanks so much for checking back in for part 2 of my NYC trip! I’ll pick up where I left off… after lunch on Restaurant Row, we had matinee tickets to see the Book of Mormon. IT. WAS. HILARIOUS! I’ve seen a couple of Broadway shows before, but this one had me laughing the whole time. If you haven’t seen it yet, I definitely recommend it! (warning: it’s pretty raunchy and not appropriate for kids!)
After the show we went back to Restaurant Row and ate at Don’t Tell Mama– it was a nice restaurant and at night, turns in to a piano bar and cabaret! Post dinner we made a stop at Junior’s for some ah-maz-ing cheesecake before walking across the street to the Marriott Marquis to have some drinks at The View. The View is a revolving sky lounge, giving you a 360 degree view of the city as you sit and have dinner or drinks! We got there as the sun was setting and it was SO pretty! We called it a night after drinks and headed back to the hotel.
On Sunday, we hit up Starbucks for breakfast and walked to St. Patrick’s Cathedral for mass. The Cathedral is absolutely breathtaking and it was so nice to be able to celebrate a mass there. After mass we did some shopping before heading to the airport- I picked up some goodies at Zara that I can’t wait to share.
Sunday was a lot cooler and rained on and off so I layered up! With all of the walking we were doing, my feet needed a break and these Nike Internationalist sneakers (similar here) were perfect! The rest of my outfit details are listed below…
Thanks for stopping by- would love your comments below if you have any suggestions for my next trip!
