Seasons of Change

I’m baaaack! Well, I never actually left, but a lot has happened in the last year so blogging fell by the wayside. Without getting in to too many details, here’s the last year in a nutshell- My 7 year relationship ended, I moved back home to New England from south Florida, started a new job, am living by myself for the first time…ever, and just turned 30, thirty!! Talk about a lot of change, huh?! To be honest, more change than I thought I could handle, but as it turns out, when you’re forced to face change, you handle it. One step at a time, one day at a time, but you handle it. And things work out. Who knew?! (Probably every other person that’s had to face change, but it’s different when it happens to you, right?!)

I don’t have it all figured out, but as I reflect on the last year and get ready to take on my thirties, there are things I’ve learned that might be worth sharing for others who are facing change themselves. I found this quote, and I have no idea who said it, but it really resonates with me… “Appreciate where you are in your journey, even if it’s not where you want to be. Every season serves it’s purpose.”
